PALESTINIAN-ISRAEL-CONFLICT

A lorry carries bodies wrapped in burial shrouds of the Abu al-Awf family, displaced from northern Gaza and killed in a home housing internally displaced Palestinians, as they are taken for burial from the Al-Aqsa hospital in the town of Deir Al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, on October 15, 2023. Israeli forces were on October 15, readying for a looming Gaza ground invasion aimed at destroying Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist militant group that unleashed the bloodiest attack in the country's history.
